Journal Day 3

Back to work after a 3 day mini vacation and the inbox was slammed full of production, both for my primary and my freelance work with WQHK and WZIM. I opened the studio door at 9am and worked steadily until 5:15, no lunch, no breaks, no biggie.  Big day for 6 today, first day of organized baseball practice, he did well considering.. fielded the ball well, hit a couple and more importantly followed direction and participated the way he should be, really proud of him. I think he’ll be an outstanding player both as a player and a leader. Stuffed some El Carbon tacos down with 6, 2 Coach B and Gramma S and momma, good stuff maynard… tomorrow looks to be another busy holiday rush, most of the sales staff will have bailed by noon for the 3 day weekend, and we anticipate a massive flow of late orders as usual.

Goals for tomorrow, include get all the stuff done we need to, to get out at a decent time, write a Part D plan for a client and follow up with quotes for 2 leads received today. I got a job solicit from a company I applied to back in the fall, will see what they have to offer.  I’m still hopeful State Farm reaches out and either says yay or nay.  Revise my resume and polish it a bit, and then social media market the latest narration finally approved by ACX in hopes to generate some audiobook sales..
